About
Hello!
My name is Kelly and I am on a journey to figure out how to live a meaningful life and to be a good person (whatever that means!). I am 25 and have found myself constantly in the midst of existential quarter-life crises since graduating and starting my first full-time job.
I started this blog because I wanted to share some of the resources that I’ve been using to more deeply contemplate life and figure out who I want to be. I am not an expert which means I will be writing in a casual and easy-to-understand way without the use of complicated words or philosophical jargon. The blog is meant to make big ideas accessible and relevant to everyday life.
On the blog, I will be writing personal essays informed by things I’ve read and listened to, sharing my journey as I attempt to live up to my ideals, and recommending books, articles, youtube videos, podcasts, etc. that I’ve found helpful. I am currently embarking on a low-buy year (more on that to come!) so I highly recommend using free online resources as well as your local public library to check out books. Many libraries also provide access to online article databases such as Jstor!
This blog, like myself, is a work in progress and I welcome all constructive feedback, tips, and recommendations from my readers. You can email me at KellyinCrisis@gmail.com. You can also sign up to have new blogs sent straight to your email at the bottom of this page.
Thank you for reading this far. Now, let’s learn together!
